Exports rise for 26th straight month in August, but growth slows to 2%

Taiwan on Wednesday reported a year-on-year increase in exports in August for the 26th consecutive month but growth slowed to 2.0 percent from 14.2 percent in July as global demand showed signs of weakening, the Ministry of Finance said (MOF) said Wednesday.
