Epistar, Delta Electronics to open LED wafer plant in China

Taiwanese LED chip maker Epistar Corp. said Saturday that it will join forces with Delta Electronics Corp., the world's largest switching power supply provider, to set up an LED wafer and chip plant in Guangzhou, in China's Guangdong Province, to tap the growing global green energy business.
