Taiwan’s views on Trump-Tsai phone call

It was a phone call that lasted for a little over 10 minutes, but it's considered "historic" in Taiwan. It has given hopes to many Taiwanese people that relations between Taiwan and the United States, its most important security guarantor, could grow closer under soon-to-be US President Donald Trump. But many people in Taiwan are also bracing for a backlash from China.
