VP Hsiao visits Palau, emphasizes drone and agricultural support

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim visited Palau from June 6-10. On Monday, she and Palau President Surangel Whipps Jr. attended a ceremony in Koror, where four Taiwan-made multi-functional drones were donated.\n\nHsiao said the drones will help strengthen the Pacific ally’s disaster response capabilities.\n\nThe trip also highlighted Taiwan's agricultural collaboration with Palau, supporting local crop production and reducing reliance on imports.\n
