Army’s 'Lu Sheng' drill focuses on real-world combat tactics

The Army is conducting the “Lu Sheng” exercise from Oct. 25 to 31, featuring force-on-force maneuvers between the 542nd Armor Brigade and the 234th Mechanized Infantry Brigade. Unlike past live-fire drills, this year’s exercise forgoes the traditional “firepower display” to emphasize realistic, combat-oriented training.
