Taipei Metro celebrates National Pet Day with dog-friendly train rides

To celebrate National Pet Day (April 11), Taipei Metro held its third-ever special pet event on Saturday, inviting dogs to ride on four designated “dog-friendly trains” on the Red (Tamsui-Xinyi) Line.\n\nAll leashed up and tails wagging, the furry passengers were free to explore and interact with one another in the train compartments during the one-day event -- a rare exception, as pets are normally required to be kept in carriers when riding the metro.
