Geneva events call for Taiwan’s WHA inclusion

Events were held in Geneva over the weekend to support Taiwan’s inclusion in the World Health Assembly (WHA), the annual decision-making meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO).\n\nThe events in the Swiss city included a march joined by more than 100 people, an exhibition organized by civic groups, and a Taiwan-organized medical expo showcasing the country’s smart healthcare and health industries.\n\nTaiwan was not invited to the WHA for a 10th consecutive year, which Taipei attributes to pressure from China. This year’s WHA runs from Monday to Saturday (Geneva time).
