Taiwan to work with Japan on upgrading bullet train technology

Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp.'s (THSRC) board of directors on Thursday approved an agreement the company signed with Central Japan Railway Company (JR-Central) to provide help in upgrading the Taiwanese line's automatic train control system.
