Taiwan wins 6 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze at Asian Physics Olympiad

New Delhi, May 7 (CNA) Taiwan captured six gold medals, a silver and a bronze at the 13th Asian Physics Olympiad competition, held in New Delhi May 1-6.

The medal haul left Taiwan as the second biggest winner at the annual physics event for high school students in the region, trailing only China, which won eight of the 30 gold medals awarded.

Nearly 160 high school students from 21 countries participated in the competition.
