Northeast winds to send mercury down to 14 degrees in northern Taiwan

A strengthening northeasterly wind system will send temperatures down to 14-15 degrees Celsius in northern and northeastern Taiwan Thursday night and 17-19 degrees in other parts of the country, according to the Central Weather Administration (CWA).
