Ministry says illegal immigration situation improving amid reported rise

The Ministry of Labor (MOL) on Sunday responded to media reports of a rise in illegal immigration in Taiwan by stating that occurrences of unaccounted-for migrant workers had declined significantly in the first half of 2023 compared with the same period last year.
