Taiwan Changhua District Court on July 5 ruled that state-run Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower) should be paid NT$1,654,308 (US$55,524.08) by a man who used privately set up power lines to avoid paying for the electricity he used to power a cryptocurrency mining operation.
