Northern Taiwan bracing for typhoon

Northern Taiwan is expected to be hit hardest by fast-approaching Super Typhoon Maria, with heavy rain and strong winds likely to arrive late Tuesday and early Wednesday, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
