First Taiwanese ferry sets sail between Taipei, China's Pingtan

A Taiwanese-owned high-speed ferry began operating directly between Taipei and Pingtan in the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian Tuesday, adding to the transportation options across the Taiwan Strait.
