Japan's Cabinet reshuffle unlikely to affect ties with Taiwan: MOFA

A recent reshuffle of Japan's Cabinet, in which several pro-Taiwan ministers were replaced amid an alleged kickback scandal, is not expected to have any major impact on that country's overall friendly policy towards Taiwan, a foreign affairs official in Taipei said Thursday.
