A delegation of local politicians and Diet members from Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in Kumamoto Prefecture has called for a resumption of direct flights between the prefecture and Taiwan, the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) said on Wednesday.
