The vice presidential candidate of Taiwan's Kuomintang (KMT) party, Wang Ju-hsuan (王如玄), pressed charges on Wednesday against an opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) lawmaker for alleged slander, saying legal action was a last resort to defend her honor.
