Taipei, Oct. 5 (CNA) A ruling Kuomintang (KMT) official confirmed Monday that KMT Chairman Eric Chu (朱立倫) has twice urged the party's presidential candidate Hung Hsiu-chu (洪秀柱) to quit the race because her chance of winning the election is too small.
