Puppets from the Puppetry Art Center of Taipei are displayed as part of the "Taiwanese Pòo-tē-hì" (girdle puppet theater) exhibition atthe gallery of the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco) in Paris from March 3-21. The center was invited by Inalco to introduce Taiwanese contemporary puppetry to French students, particularly "golden light" puppet shows, which feature medium-sized puppets and can be traced back to the 1950s in Taiwan.
