Taiwan's top Chinese opera academic dies at 81

Tseng Yong-yih (曾永義), the first academician at Academia Sinica with a major in traditional Chinese opera, passed away at home on Monday at the age of 81, according to his student Wang An-chi (王安祈), former artistic director of the GuoGuang Opera Company.
