With geopolitical tensions on the rise, globalization principles in the semiconductor industry are on the decline, meaning more countries will likely enter the market and leave Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) facing severe challenges, founder of the chipmaker Morris Chang (張忠謀) said Saturday.
