Furloughed workers among manufacturers dip below 10,000

The number of furloughed workers on formal unpaid leave programs in the local manufacturing sector fell below the 10,000 mark in the past week, with a semiconductor equipment supplier ending its unpaid leave plan ahead of schedule, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) said Friday.
