Think tank cuts Taiwan's GDP growth forecast to 2.31% for 2023

The Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) joined the growing list of think tanks to lower their forecast for Taiwan's economic growth forecast in 2023, announcing on Tuesday a cut to its forecast for the nation's gross domestic product growth to 2.31 percent, attributing the downgrade mainly to weakening global demand.
