Taiwan's manufacturing sector hits record high in Q4 fixed asset investments

As Taiwan's semiconductor industry remained keen in production expansion, the local manufacturing sector saw its investments in fixed assets hit a new quarterly high in the fourth quarter of last year, up more than 16 percent from a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
