Finance ministry welcomes opportunity to sign tax deal with the U.S.

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) welcomed any opportunity to negotiate an income tax agreement with the United States involving the reduction of double taxation, it said Friday, one week after two U.S. senators put forth a proposed resolution urging the Joe Biden administration to begin negotiating such an accord with Taiwan.
