Terry Gou (郭台銘), founder of Apple supplier Foxconn, said Monday that Taiwan needs more high-end companies than just Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to help protect itself and should also try to tackle its low birthrate, as its industrial upgrade could be hampered by an aging workforce, .
