Taiwan shares end above 10,800 points as tech stocks gain

Shares in Taiwan closed above the 10,800- point mark Wednesday as investors rushed to pick up select large-cap electronics stocks, in particular in the Apple Inc. supply chain, in the wake of gains posted by tech stocks in the United States overnight, dealers said.
