IEK issues warning on China's new semiconductor alliance

Taiwanese semiconductor companies need to beware of the medium- and long-term impact of a new Chinese high-end chip alliance aimed at vertically integrating China's semiconductor industry to catch up with the big powers, a local research institute warned Friday.
