HTC names new marketing chief

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. (宏達電) confirmed Tuesday that it has named Idris Mootee, the CEO of Toronto-based design firm Idea Couture Inc., as its new chief marketing officer after the post had been left vacant for seven months.
