Han Kuang Day 3: Forces mobilized across Taiwan for logistics, defense drills

Forces on Taiwan and its outlying islands were mobilized Friday, the third day of the live-fire component of the annual Han Kuang military exercises. In Taoyuan, reservists were trained to safeguard critical supplies at a logistics site in case of a Chinese attack, while F-16 pilots and ground crews at Hualien Air Base practiced emergency aerial refueling procedures. In the outlying Penghu County, Army troops were rapidly deployed Thursday night in CM-21 armored vehicles for defense drills around port facilities.
