Ceremony held in Taipei to mark Taishin-Shin Kong merger

TS Financial Holding Co., formed through the merger of Taishin and Shin Kong financial holding firms, held a sign unveiling ceremony in Taipei on Thursday. At a cocktail party held later in the day to celebrate, the financial giant’s chairperson, Thomas Wu, said the deal sent “a clear signal” that Taiwan’s financial industry is consolidating and restructuring in preparation to support Taiwanese businesses in a new global landscape.
