Oil leak crisis lifted for stranded freighter off Penghu Islands

An operation to remove fuel and oil from a cargo ship stranded in waters off the Penghu Islands was completed Sunday, bringing to an end an oil slick crisis, according to the Environmental Protection Bureau of Penghu County.
