Taiwan may open equity market to Chinese retail investors soon: FSC

Tseng Ming-chung (曾銘宗), chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), said Saturday that starting in January, Taiwan may allow Chinese retail investors to buy shares in the local equity market, in a bid to boost the trading volume.
