Vice premier promotes public transit to cut carbon emissions

Instead of imposing a carbon tax to cut carbon emissions, the government should put greater emphasis on improving the energy efficiency of vehicles and encouraging the use of public transportation, Vice Premier Eric Liluan Chu said Monday.
