Chinese aircraft carrier sails in waters south of Taiwan

China's first aircraft carrier sailed in waters south of Taiwan overnight with Taiwan's fighter jets and warships monitoring its movement and ready to respond, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND) said Monday.
