Young woman's NT$1 m. savings scoffed by termites

An Investigation Bureau official advised the public Tuesday to keep their savings in financial institutions for safe keeping, citing a recent example in which a young college graduate lost most of her NT$1 million (US$33,375) savings in a home safe after they were destroyed by termites.
