Consumer prices down 0.16% year-on-year in January

The consumer price index (CPI) fell 0.16 percent from a year earlier in January, a reflection of a relative comparison basis as the Lunar New Year holiday fell in the first month of last year, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Friday.
