An annual international sand sculpture festival on Taiwan's northeastern coast opened Saturday, displaying 80 works by 22 artists from Taiwan and 13 other countries. Here are some of the highlights of the event, which will run through July 9 at Fulong beach in New Taipei's Gongliao District this year.
