Demonstrators throw shoes to protest KMT

Hundreds of protestors gathered outside the venue where the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) is holding its 19th National Congress on Sunday, throwing shoes to express their anger at President Ma Ying-jeou and his party and demanding that Ma step down.
