James Moriarty, chairman of the board of trustees of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), arrived in Taiwan on Sunday to attend the dedication ceremony of the AIT's new office complex in Taipei, which he described as "an important symbol" of U.S. commitment to Taiwan.
