DPP urges China to stop persecuting rights lawyers, activists

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) on Monday called on China to stop its oppression of its human rights lawyers and activists, as news surfaced that Beijing had widened a crackdown on these individuals over the past few days.
