Regulators meet to tackle cross-strait insurance issues

Regulatory bodies from Taiwan and China met Thursday in Taipei to tackle cross-strait insurance issues but did not come to an agreement on a long-sought-after move to allow Taiwanese firms more than 50 percent stake in joint ventures in China.
