CORONAVIRUS / Weekly COVID-19 cases in Taiwan surge 78%, extend climb: CDC

Nearly 6,000 individuals sought medical treatment for COVID-19 last week, marking a 78 percent increase from the previous week and the fourth consecutive weekly rise in cases, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said Tuesday.
