U.S. dollar closes higher on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Oct. 14 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.065 to close at the day's high of NT$30.761.

Turnover totaled US$1.725 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$30.740, and moved to a low of NT$30.645 before rebounding
