Diabetes medication recalled amid carcinogen concerns

Kotang X.R. 500mg tablets, a diabetes drug prescribed in Taiwan, are being recalled for risk control purposes out of concern that the product may contain a carcinogenic ingredient, the nation's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Tuesday.
