Cold air mass to send mercury plunging in coming days: CWB

A cold wave is forecast to envelop Taiwan from Thursday to Saturday, sending temperatures plummeting to as low as 9 degrees Celsius in northern parts of the country, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Wednesday.
