Returning Taichung man to face over NT$500,000 fine for quarantine breach

A Taiwanese businessman in Taichung, central Taiwan who returned from China on Jan. 21 and has been in quarantine is likely to face a heavy fine of no less than NT$500,000 (US$17,851) after going outside seven times in violation of quarantine regulations, Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen (盧秀燕) said Monday.
