Scholars warn of more extreme weather in Taiwan amid climate change

Taipei, April 5 (CNA) Taiwan could see more storms in summer and less rain in spring due to more frequent climate abnormalities known as the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD), local scholars said earlier this week, urging the government to take precautionary measures to boost future disaster prevention.
