In the wake of the escalating community spread of COVID-19 in Taiwan, the Cabinet on Thursday introduced a draft amendment that will increase a special budget to support economic relief measures designed to ease the impact of the virus on Taiwan's economy to NT$630 billion (US$22.6 billion).
