DPP blocks proposals on banning, controlling ractopamine-use in pork

The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP)-controlled legislature on Thursday blocked all proposals put forward by opposition parties to ban or control imports of pork containing a controversial feed additive for local consumption and use.
