Philippine president mulling fishery cooperation talks with Taiwan

Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III told local media Tuesday that he is considering discussions with Taiwan on matters related to fishery cooperation to avoid any recurrence of an incident in which a 65-year-old fisherman was shot dead by Philippine marine patrol personnel in overlapping waters of the two countries May 9.
